Who we are
My name is Joe. I have lived on this eastern coast for several years now, and this is where I chose to stay. Corsica does not let you go. It is not a place so much as a way of seeing things, of breathing, of being in the world.
A Sulana came out of a simple observation: owners needed someone on the island, not a call centre. Someone who knows the local tradespeople, who can be there quickly, who looks after a house as if it were their own. A human presence, reachable and kind.
Today I look after houses that owners have trusted me with. I maintain them, I welcome the travellers, I keep watch. Every stay is different. Every house has its own personality, and that is what keeps this work alive.
Being kind to the environment is not a selling point for me. It is a conviction I live out daily, in every product I use, every craftsperson I call, every guest I welcome. Corsica gives me so much. The least I can do is look after it in return.

We believe a place as precious as Corsica deserves to be cherished, not simply used. Our idea of a concierge service rests on a local, circular economy: produce bought from growers we know, nearby craftspeople we keep in work, guests we encourage to buy local and to respect what nature offers here.
We want every owner who trusts us to feel at ease — genuinely at ease — and every traveller to leave carrying a memory of Corsica unlike any other. We commit to that in concrete ways: organic products for every clean, local craftspeople for every job, produce sourced a few miles away for every welcome basket. Small consistent choices that add up.
Environmentally minded, human, local, honest — that is how we think of A Sulana. Not one more company, but a way of being in the world.
Being from here is our first strength. We know every corner of this coast, every producer, every craftsperson. That rootedness is not a marketing line — it is our daily reality. We do not sell Corsica: we live it, and we share it honestly. Every service we offer rests on real relationships, built on trust and time.
Trust is the foundation of everything we do. When an owner hands us a house, it is usually far more than a property — it is a home, a place of memory, sometimes a family house. We treat it with the same care we would our own. And when a traveller steps through the door, we want them to feel expected and welcomed, as though staying with a friend who knows the island's best secrets.
Corsica is a natural treasure worth protecting. That is why we made the deliberate choice to use only organic products for cleaning, to source our welcome baskets close to home, and to encourage every traveller to respect the island's environment. Caring for your house is also caring for our island — for the generations that follow.
A house without soul is just accommodation. A house cared for with love is a refuge. That is what we try to offer every owner who trusts us.
